Katy Perry has given us the answer to the age old question, what if glamorous chicks in the '40s had pink hair? The singer served her best screen-siren look with a royal wedding worthy hat and some super-cool houndstooth. Mrs. Brand shared shed some light on her cotton candy life to Instyle Magazine:

Katy on the fury that is inside her:
“I’m not going to sit and be steamrolled. I am full of unicorns and Care Bears 99 percent of the time, but don’t open Pandora’s Box of that other 1 percent — because it’s there!

On getting to sleep while getting her make-up done:
“I ordered a special chair from the dentist so I can lie back and wake up looking like a million bucks — I call it my Sleeping Beauty makeup.”

On her love for all things mid-century:
"I take a lot of influence from pin-up girls of the '40s and '50s - when everything was done with a wink and a grin."
